Denim on Denim

Mila’s outfit on Saturday consisted of a grey tee and boyfriend jeans from Pick ‘n Pay clothing and these cute denim reversible Tic Tac Toe shoes from Little Pink Foot in Durbanville.

I love the attention to detail in these jeans and they were well worth the R129.99 I paid.

These shoes are the most comfortable things you can let you kid wear. Not only does Tic Tac Toe come in a variety of colours and designs, they’re reversible and affordable at a low price of R140. Keep in mind that you’re getting two pairs of shoes for the price of one!

Whenever I see this print, I think of that song “there are 5million bicycles in Beijing…” and immediately I smile from ear to ear.

The temperature was a little weird on Saturday, sunny yet windy so I paired her laid back outfit with her favourite jersey our Aunty Maureen knitted for her.

Mila looked stylish and because of the stretch in the jeans, she was comfortable enough to be her wild and free self!

Funny face!

Have a great week everybody!

Sunglass Hut

Happy Heritage Day to my fellow South Africans (locally and abroad). I hope that you enjoyed and embraced this wonderful day as much as my little family did. We went on a bit of a shopping spree and those items will be filling posts on the blog in due time.

One thing I did was pop into Sunglass Hut to redeem my R2000 prize I won for making it reign on social media.

Thank you so much Sunglass Hut, you were totally right, choosing is only half of the fun, the other half was spending the R2000 you gifted me to enjoy.

So i’m going to be honest, I actually didn’t spend it on myself, instead, I opted to purchase a pair for my husband. A month ago he did something really great for me, he got me a Canon DSLR camera and I’ve been wanting to make it up to him ever since, and why not with a pair of gorgeous Emporio Armani’s!

These however are on my wishlist and will be saving up to purchase them. I mean hello?! How can I not own a pair of Kourtney Kardashian inspired sunnies?

I quite like them and that’ putting it mildly. How fab are they though? Perfectly paired with my favourite Colette by Colette Hayman neck-piece and Mr Price fluffy crop.

I enjoyed snapping up the gorgeous eye-wear in store with my “other” child, my Canon DSLR camera, and like an exceptional pair of shades from Sunglass Hut, it’s an investment!

These Prada’s are EVERYTHING!

It’s all in the details…

Have you ever been inside of a Sunglass Hut? If not, you better boogy on down there because they have an awesome special on offer…

Even Mila joined in on the fun and we’ll be visiting a Sunglass Hut SA soon to purchase our little one her first pair of Ray Bans, which ones do you like?

What a diva! She looks so fabulous in the pink shades.

Check me out parentals, polarized is so cool!

Aaaaah! I love Sunglass Hut Mommy!

Hope you enjoyed this post and had an awesome Heritage Day!

Mila Goes To Moyo

Sunday was such a wonderful day that we decided to take our little one to Eden on the Bay. Being one of our favourite places to venture to, we just knew she’d enjoy it too.

Before exploring the beach, we grabbed a quick bite at Moyo. We ordered the two starters you see below and as always, the food was amazing!

MJ had a field day crawling on the deck and making friends with the lovely folk occupying the restaurant.

Mila’s trying to stand on her own so we’re seeing this a lot!

It was her first time at the beach and even though she didn’t get to go in the water, she had tons of fun roaming about on the grass.

You can just see the joy and freedom she experiences being outdoors with the ocean smell in the air and the wind in her hair.

I’ve recently discovered the great variety and quality that Pick ‘n Pay clothing has to offer. I bought Mila these cute print shorts and sparkle top for under R100.

I adore this photo of her. It’s whimsical and joyous and I’ve captioned it; “Throw your cares into the wind”

I pared it with a ruffle grey Keedo cardigan to keep with the beachy vibe she had going on.

Last but not least, this wonderful photo of Mila and her daddy. The love my husband has for our daughter makes me fall in love with him
every. single. day.
