Too Tulle To Be True

To thine own self be tulle!

I love skirts and my latest obsession is tulle skirts. After seeing a fellow blogger publish the most gorgeous image of her in a tulle skirt I knew that it was just what my wardrobe was in need of.

I couldn’t find a tulle skirt anywhere, so instead of seeking far and wide, I kept it pretty much close to home, no really, next door to be precise. My neighbour is an awesome dressmaker and managed to pull this beauty off.

Along with the skirt, I wore crop top with vest underneath and a black leather jacket. The look was perfect for day and all I did was swap out my beloved flats for some heels and I was ready to take on the night at the Rubybox event with Kealin, Jade of Just Jade Blog, Qaanita of Paperdolls Diary and Zaitoen.

August Rubybox

After washing my face I love to give my skin some time to breath and just acclimate with what’s happening and then apply a basic moisturizer or sunblock but this morning Paula was my only choice and honey I’m never looking back.
